It should be on all the news channels. I have it on MSNBC.

They are reporting that the press pool has told them nothing. No one has any idea what it's about. They said it would be about 10:30.

I'm sure they will for a time. If for no other reason just to be safe.

I really think that Bin Laden has become more of a pariah in the middle east than a hero and doesn't have as many people wanting to die for him now.

Before tonight he was a symbol that you could attack the USA on a shoe string budget and get away with it. Now that symbol is gone.

Praying Victims of 9/11 are in my prayers right now. This is bringing flash backs to that horrible day. I remember watching both planes hit, and then the reporting from the Pentagon just as it was hit.

Although their families will never find peace, I hope they can find some comfort in this.

I never thought Id feel so Happy about someones death but I do right now.
I was displaced due to 911 and flew in the same air space at same time and from same airport this tragedy happened.

I have to give George Bush a lot of credit. Despite the mess we are in now, I always felt he did have a very human side to him. Also, kudos to President Obama, who called George Bush to inform him of the news. This is the news release of his statement on Bin Laden's death:
Earlier this evening, President Obama called to inform me that American forces killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al Qaeda network that attacked America on September 11, 2001.
I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude.
This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.

I will say I was not a fan of Bush's (I think he was a horrible president)but he has shown class since his retirement and I have found a new respect for him.

I don't know that I care for the mobs of people that are apparently celebrating all over the country. You should always have an honorable victory over vanquished enemies.

I do understand the sentiment though.

I wish I could be there too! I have tears in my eyes just watching the people rejoice on tv!

I have to admit, I never thought I would see so many people chanting happily in the streets of the USA over killing someone, but this man was the devil in the flesh Twisted Evil I heard his eldest son was also killed.
