How many times can a person receive EB

Hi,
Can a person receive EB for another claim they previously had open?, how about if later they found a job and got lay off again and therefore has been collecting money from the latest claim?.
EB is only once in a lifetime?...need guidance.

No, EB is not "once in a lifetime". You are eligible for it whenever your state qualifies in periods of high unemployment. If you were on EB during this past recession, EUC08, were eligible for the Federal Tiers, you are eligible for EB, if your state still participates. There are several states now that are cutting off this program. I believe you are from FL, so this would not affect you.

I know you can get EUC more than once, for sure. But I don;t know about EB. You can collect EUC on each claim you have...
