Thanks all.

I have spent it weeding and mowing my yard for the first time this year. I am going to get cleaned up and go to Denny's for the free breakfast and then watch the ball game. I hope we can win for a change!

I'd love to get outside and start cleaning my perennial garden, but I know we are going to have another frost. I can see shoots starting to come up but don't want to rake the fall debris out yet. It is good insulation against the frost. At least the trees are starting to turn green. That is a happy sight after this winter - I never thought we would see the grass again with all the snow we had!

I agree but this is out in the open. People who get their kicks out of trashing the 99ers love to see this kind of junk. It gives them fuel and I personally don't want to be part of something like that. Why can't everybody work together? If people would grow up and pay attention to the things that matter, we might actually see some action in Washington to help us. This all make us look like a bunch of whining babies.

I am about one day away from being on the streets and this stuff sure doesn't help us.

Trust me I know but If someone is not sincere it will show. Sometimes you need to forget about the dead weight and move on. There are tons of great info here on how to fight back and speak up. Most important reach out to others and spread the word.

I have a job and I am still trying to help. The only true way anyone will change is if the admin wants it. Anyone can start a forum.

Move foreward and think of new ways to get attention. Twitter is a great way to make contacts by the way.

Hi Jane, thanks for asking. I hvae been really busy lately with prepping to move "AGAIN" out of my place. YOU wouldnt believe the amount of stuff we had. Then top is all off had to make 2 stops with a fully loaded 24 foot truck to unload certain items at both locations....
I am going to be a hurting unit tomorrow for sure. Im already a hurting unit..

Moving is one of my least favorite things and I'm aching just thinking of moving. It's amazing how much stuff the average person has. Most of the time it sneaks in one item at a time and before you know it, there are truck loads of the stuff.

Oh no!! Add me to the list of PMs! Frankie sent me an email after tornadoes to check on me and we exchanged email about it. My last email from him was the 23rd. We have talked many times on the phone. He is such a sweetheart and has a very special place in my heart. So many of his emails are unbelievably sweet. He even offered to call me when I was in that confined study to keep me company and make the time go by faster.

His son Wesley answered my email the last time he was in the hospital. I will call later this morning as it's still too early. I will post if I reach anyone in his family.

Howdy folks just checking in to say hello. I'm getting settled into my new place finally. Now to adjust to living with family. Never did I think at almost 37 I'd be in this position. I'm 2 weeks from 99er ville as well. Actually my last day is on my birthday. Ugh.

I was quite saddened to learn about Knarf... Prayers continue.

THIS IS THE POINT: millions of good people's lives are passing by and no improvement OR even openings to improve the status quo. This is not my America, sad to say. This country is without a foundation to grow and that is the only way out is up. We can not cut our way out!
We shall ALL either rise or fall together --- WHEN WILL THEY GET IT?
We do not have time for "silliness" as President Obama stated today. So get on with some real growth programs for employment NOW, for God's sake and this nation's future!!

Good morning everyone.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people Alabama and Mississippi, and all the southern states. Severe storms and tornados have claimed at least 180 lives and more are missing.

I hope everyone's attention will shift now from the President's BC and the royal wedding and focus on more Americans who are suffering. I saw some of the pictures and the damage was devastating.
