How miserable can they make us?
Let me see:
1) I finished UC on exactly the day in late May 2010 unemployment benefits WERE NOT PASSED so I was unable to get on Tier 1 and so my undiagnosed Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome began. In the meantime they take a week off, whenever their is a holiday they take off or one or two weeks. Additionally, vacation breaks are a couple times a year. I wish I had their job, but I don't cheat, lie or steal. I would be bad for my resume.
2) Memorial Day was ruined.
3) The Forth of July was ruined.
4) Senator Byrd died.
5) That F-face Manchin (who was supposed to clear the way for an immediate replacement maneuvered for so long, just to position himself to be elected The program was not renew until July 22, 2010. Now he votes with the Republicans.
6) Unemployment Compensation was due to expire at the end of November, This ruined Thanksgiving.
7) Unemployment Compensation stopped, as we thought it would, at the end of November 2010.
Media continually say "no more extensions." This freaks us all out
9) Christmas was ruined. No money, no meal.
10) Finally we thought we got the real deal. 13-month extension. WRONG
11) On March 15th I found out I would not be receiving tier 4
12) Republicans crushes Exhaustes hopes once again after all of their hard work
13) I now read my EB, if not extended by law by my state, will end on June 9th. I called UC about EB and they said "don't bother worrying about it, if it is going to happen, it will happen." Jeezus, thanks a lot.
14) We are not stupid, and WE COULD NOT KNOW most states will expire EB this year unless enacted upon. We didn't know about the states secret laws, UIR's, TUR's, 2 or 3 year look backs, etc., how could we and they really got us on this one. If states do not enact their own EB & HUB. 3-year look back, EB will be up for millions more. I can't even imagine what this will do to the housing market, prices of oil, super-inflation, etc., but I fear we are looking at a double dip depression. Did I say "depression,", I meant "recession," uh-huh.
15) They planned it this way. Cut taxes for the rich and these dopes on UC will be falling off EB so fast THAT THE TAX CUT FOR THE RICH WILL BE PAID FOR BY THE END OF THIS YEAR. Seems those Republicans got their PAY GO AFTER ALL. YES?
16) They have ruined millions of peoples lives, but they don't give a ****.
17) Last but not least artificially deflated unemployment rates.
Yes, i have undiagnosed Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome...I don't think I will ever get over this.. Does anyone have a xanax. The Congress, democrats and republicans and tea party members look like to me.
and i hate all of them. Oh pardon me, McConnell looks like this
i have a lot more to say about this but as usual, I am up worrying and haven't eaten all day, so I will make a sandwich now, go to bed and jump up in the morning to start my job search. Yepperee.............. Dazed&Confused
P.S.: I understand that others have had more issues during their journey, I am just venting.

"That F-face Manchin"
Um...you must have meant "Ferret-face"...why would you have to self-censor that?

Uh....speak for yourself, Dazed. It'll be all hugs-n-kisses until the Hockey playoffs start.
Steelers, nope, I never cared much about them. You can get seriously hurt by saying that out loud in this town.

Aw, Joan hockey is my favorite sport, wouldn't miss a game. We just fell out of 1st place in our division, but we play the Rangers next so maybe we will be back in first place.
Plenty of great games between the Flyers and the Penguins in years gone by. In Philly we boo our own teams, Eagles, Sixers, Phillies, don't matter. Philly has the reputation for being the nastiest fans. Love their teams one day, hate them the next.
Yes, I believe you could get seriously hurt re the Steelers and not caring about them. Here it is day to day whether or not we like our teams.

The truth about my hockey fandom: it's the only sport I can tolerate because they spend much less time standing around doing nothing than they do in other sports, so it bores me less.

Boycott Koch Industries and Georgia Pacific. The Koch Brothers are funding the Tea Party. The Koch Brothers are athiests who love money. The bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. Fred Koch was a founder of the athiest John Birch Society ! Defeat the Tea Party -- they belong to the athiest Koch Brothers
Ask a Koch if they care?
