CBS Video: Homeless Children and Unemployment - Children Raised in Hard Times!

Post by Guest on Tue Mar 08, 2011 1:15 pm

For some children, socializing and learning are being cruelly complicated by homelessness, as Scott Pelley reports from Florida, where school buses now stop at motels for children who've lost their homes.

Families living in vans, one room motels, separated in shelters - 60 Minutes highlights children in crisis. Bring your tissues!Sad

Why isn't this considered to be a humanitarian crisis?

It is, but our government refuses to acknowledge it. Now they are calling for humanitarian relief for a million people in Libya. What about over 35 million here in America? Sad
