esc nc questions
so i was laid off/lack of work and i have a few questions i filled out my claim and been a week and it says this Claim Status: REGULAR ACTIVE CLAIM
Active Issues: No
does that mean everything is good and when i file my my first weekly my funds will be in? and i got a letter in the mail from them about direct deposit with my bank but i already put my routing number in the esc site already. so that mean i don't have to do that letter since i already put it in the esc site? thanks

Re: esc nc questions
You should be all set to claim now, but I'm not sure about the direct deposit, I wouldn't assume anything. I don't think it would hurt to fill it out again, as long as it's the same info you already gave. Good luck!

Re: esc nc questions
Mike,
I got one of those letters too... about direct deposit. -Even though I set that up on line when I originally filed. It all worked out for me.
Unemployment sends so many things in the mail in the beginning.
If they haven't sent you one of those debit cards then you are probably set for direct deposit. If they made a mistake (But Lord knows the government never makes mistakes!!!) you can update it yourself on line after your first payment.
Good luck.
