Hello all!

Hope this board is still active.

Anyways, my contract ended suddenly without notice, so I'm back on the unemployment line again.... and feeling even more depressed.

Sorry to hear that Depressed!

With so many people finally getting jobs again, and not being able to hold onto them, you know the economy is still in the tank! Things can't be that bad with the world economy that we couldn't have pulled ourselves out of this by now. Its a DISCRACE!!!

Not surprised, that is the reality of today, if you get a job it may not last long, temps are the first ones to go, It has happened to my husband 3 times in the last year.

The days of stable job are over

no longetivity in working, no decent pay either.....although I had decent pay while working, but being let go short of the complete contracted time sucks.....temps/contract workers are just cannon fodder.....

Sounds very much like our parents and grandparents working odd-jobs during the last depression in order to survive! This is our version of that.
