Changing from paper claim form to EDD Web-Cert
I've been on unemployment for >6 mos in the state of Ca. I'm looking to change to filling out the form via web instead of the paper form as per the insert they sent me in my bi-weekly claim form. I have 2 questions if anyone can assist. One of the questions is: "Did your employer or union give you a claim form?"
Are they referring to when I was first laid off? Not clear on why they are re-asking this question. Is the correct answer Yes- as in, my former employer gave me EDD information. I just don't want to get it wrong & lose my benefits. Is there anything else I need to know regarding switching to web-cert? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
