Oddball Interview questions

Post by Hunterforjobs on Wed Jan 16, 2013 1:46 pm

This is as funny as it is sad.

“If you were to get rid of one state in the US, which would it be and why?”
“How many cows are in Canada?"
“How many quarters would you need to reach the height of the Empire State building?"

You are right...sad..but hilarious. God help me if an interviewer asks me any of these. They'd throw me out.

7. What do you think about when you're in your car alone? "Who opened the cages and let these animals drive?"
12. How would people communicate in a perfect world? Get rid of computers, cell phones, and texting. Try communicating the old fashion way, and look into the eyes of the person you're talking to.
17. Favorite song...and perform it..? That's a toss up. "I will survive, as long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive" or " I am woman..."
20. Two celebrity parents? Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gates...then I wouldn't be sitting here trying to answer your stupid questions.
22. If your cell phone was silent and it rang loudly, what would you say? " WTF, what else would you say...."

But one big question is why would Petco ask "How to cook an omelet?"

None of these questions have anything to do with jobs. I do not see their point.

They are stupid, not the norm, and in my opinion just not worthy of discussion or further attention.
