Tell Congress To Renew EUC For 2013 - Takes 2 Minutes

Post by Guest on Fri Nov 30, 2012 8:25 am

Here's where you can voice your discontent about EUC08 ending December 29, 2012. Take just a few minutes and send the big shots a clear message to extend EUC... ASAP!

I ve noticed some of our newer members have mentioned they will be affected by this. Looking for some feedback. Did any of you actually take action and do this, and share it on social media ?? scratch

I did. Without an extension (or a job), I will be out on the street.

Extention of UI benefits is included in Obama's deal proposal, see here.

The proposal also calls for additional spending, including a new $50 billion stimulus package, a home mortgage refinancing plan and an extension of unemployment insurance benefits. It would also extend the payroll tax cut passed early in Obama's administration to give taxpayers more money to spend.

We aren't completely out of the fight yet. Wink

Contact your congressmen and senators directly!!! Email, fax, call, tweet, post on their Facebook pages, EVERYDAY!! Get this topic trending on Twitter, overload the switchboard at the Capitol and crash their servers with your emails!!

Don't sit back and send a letter via UnemployedWorkers or sign a petition, nothing will get done! Ask anyone of our longtime members here, you need a strong, unified and organized campaign, and you need it fast!!

Find contact information, as well as pending bills and legislation on the sites:
www.senate.gov
www.house.gov
