YOU CAN HAVE YOUR SAY!!!!!!!!!
Hey, everyone...check out this link...and then check out the post that was submitted after. I actually e-mailed this guy after seeing his requirements for those to call him. Check out what I said in my e-mail, and check out his reply as well. Then he actually called me. This guys is actually connected to CNN, and they are doing another program in April...I know, it's far away, however, anything helps.

"Our production company is casting an episode on long-term
unemployment for a major news network.
We are seeking an intact family with one parent out of work, preferably
through layoff or downsizing, who is having difficulty securing employment
despite a rigorous job search. This
family should also have adult, college or trade school educated children living
back at home because of the tough job market.
If this describes your family, or if you personally know of a family
that might like to help bring this important subject closer to the public
consciousness, please email me." craigscott.wp@gmail.com
This is what I e-mailed back to him: "Please...do you really think you're going to get the whole picture with the example of this family. Here you have a two parent home, who were able to put a child/children thru college, and only one parent is out of work? Come on!!
What about the single parent home, who has raise her child/children alone for years, has worked their butt off to support that child/children, without a day off, even saved enough to put him/her thru college, and now find that he/she is close to being homeless due to a downsizing, layoff, etc. Do you really think that family you are looking for is suffering like this family. They must have savings in the bank, and one is still working. Again, it's always the non-standard family that gets screwed, or you really don't want to hear the whole truth."
This is what his reply was: " Thank you for the reply. We are absolutely interested in presenting an accurate picture of the hardships facing the long-term unemployed. While we have certain casting parameters that our producers have begun to search within, we do not wish to discount any important stories in our coverage.
I would love to discuss your personal experience if you are willing. May I call you?

Re: YOU CAN HAVE YOUR SAY!!!!!!!!!
Yup...he did call me, and I told him as much as I could remember...lol...and then because I still have his e-mail address, I keep flipping things to him that I remember. But the more people contact him, the better. He actually asked if I would be willing to be available for the program in April 2013, and I told him that I would think about it only because I didn't want to black ball myself anymore than I had to.
