Things are happening fast so I can't stay long. I may be getting a full-time job with excellent benefits. Can't be certain because of the financial mess I had to take on.

I finished the online application, just a few minutes ago. I have never seen HR move so fast. It was a sight to be seen. I still have to wait for them on their end again but it all looks good. I will give details when I get a chance.

I have an interview with an another company that I had worked for. This is my 3rd try under 3 different job postings.

I have more work to do, so I will tell the full story soon.

So hang in there everyone. Very Happy

NAB, great news! And that's why I keep saying post, post, post... there are jobs out there where there weren't before - even at this time of year!

I have it from my external referral was told by the internal referral that I had gotten the job. Waiting for something official. Waiting to make sure. Weird development. The HR person that had called me, doesn't know who I am and what job I am applying to.

I had a nice interview with a HR guy named Phillip. He made sure I felt comfortable in the process. He asked me did I have any questions for him and I said yes. I asked him when do I start? He told me he would have to ask the guy whose department I would be working that he would be coming in later. Well, an hour later, I received a call from the guy Phillip referred me to. He asked me if I would come back to see him. I did. I got offered the job and I took it. I start training tomorrow. It is not the job I was waiting for with the benefits. If they decide to offer me a job, I will take it. But now the internal referral person is acting like she don't know what I am talking about. So if that is the way it is that's okay.

Go for it, NAB... "tomorrow never knows"!

Take the "bird in the hand"... it doesn't mean "forever". Good luck...

Thanks, Macky. I am still in the running for the good job with benefits. I told a friend tha I could write a book about my adventures in this job search. From coming tp
o this site has help me understand the hassle factor in this job search. And I have voted.

Understanding the process is key and letting the employer know that you have a positive attitude and you are reliable. But look for companies that value you as a person. I notice how management handles worker who are trying to be helpful on the job. It says a lot.

Well, I should now something more definite today.

Thanks Macky! You and I think alike. I just texted a friend about that yesterday. Fingers crossed with you as well. I have kept up my "A game". Had to because of people in my life still resisting and I am learning what are the limitations of technology in impeding communication.

Thanks for what you are doing.

Macky, when I receive an on board information from this company' HR, I will see if they have a current position for a web designer in your area and I can recommend you if you like.
