two new interviews

Post by Sandra5yearsunemployed on Fri Sep 28, 2012 12:15 am

Friday 10am for tempoary driver position. They have no clue how long it will last. So I need to ask their stategy (it is NOT a temp agency).

My job developer through DOR got me an interview with Victor Community Services. However, I have to drive up to Rancho Cucomonga up to Chaffey College for the interview. . . it is for a full-time perm case manager position. Victor Community has offices all over southern California.

Hoping I get the position at Victor since it is not temp. Hoping I can find out if the temp job could last for 4 months since I must have health care insurance. I have surgery coming up (don't know surgery date, just know that pre-op assessment is Oct 10th, hoping surgery is around Oct 31st so I can put this behind me and focus on looking for work and getting a job). I can't be without insurance and if the temp job will last 4 months, that is worth it for me to pay $200 a month for a PPO and on $12 an hour, I'd be able to afford $200 a month for insurance. But only one month? No one would pay $200 for a PPO with only $1600 coming in - in one month.

It depends which forum you speak about. Certain threads may be locked.
