Health Care Assistance
Federally-funded health centers care for you, even if you have no health insurance. You pay what you can afford, based on your income. Health centers provide
1. checkups when you're well 2. treatment when you're sick 3. complete care when you're pregnant 4. immunizations and checkups for your children 5. dental care and prescription drugs for your family 6. mental health and substance abuse care if you need .

Re: Health Care Assistance
We have the Complete Care in NJ. I have had it a little over 1-1/2 years. We don't get the discounts on medication, however, at least Dr. and Dentist are covered somewhat. Certain womens issue are covered. Certain diagnostics etc but not all and no hospitalization. I am not complaining, glad to have something, however the article makes it sound like everything is covered and it's not. It depends on your particular situation. I would encourage any members without coverage to look into this, it's worth it.
