US Unemployment rate for April: 8.1%

Jobs Created in April: 115,000

Excuse of the month: Shrinking labor force, people have either retired or stopped looking. Lowest number of people in the workforce since the Reagan Depression years, 1981 - 2. Can't forget to blame the weather either. Economists say we are paying for having strong job growth because we had a good winter.

Another sign of economic slowdown has hammered Wall Street on Friday. After months of motivating job reports, the Labor Department said that only 69,000 jobs were put into the United States economic climate in May. That is the littlest number added in the year before. Use a payday loan to pay for things while between jobs.

Welcome Mandy.

This post was made last month. Since then, the US Unemployment Rate rose to 8.2%. That's the "official" number, anyway. Everyone here knows those numbers are skewed and do not include the "99ers" and other exhaustees. We are considered by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics as "discouraged workers" who have given up.
