Mitt Romney Praises Meg Whitman As News Breaks That Her Company Is Slashing 30,000 American Jobs

Post by Guest on Sun May 20, 2012 6:58 pm

“I wish Californians had elected Meg Whitman. She would have been more successful and explained to Californians the need to cut back on spending and eliminate unnecessary programs.”

Romney’s praise for Whitman couldn’t have come at more inopportune time, as The New York Times reported on the same day that Whitman intends to eliminate 30,000 American jobs mostly through layoffs and forcing workers into early retirement. Even though Hewlett-Packard made a staggering $7.1 billion profit in 2011, Whitman is cutting these jobs in America while leaving Hewlett-Packard jobs intact in China and elsewhere.

i don't watch a lot of TV...but i confess to watching msnbc news....

they have reported that mitt has said everything and covered every position...no matter what your position is mitt has supported it at one time or another...
when contradictions are pointed out,...... the romney people just don't comment....

now i understand people change their minds sometimes politicians do it a lot....but with mitt it is daily and just done with no regard for anything....just incredible......

I don't get it either elvis. He seems to be making the same mistakes the McCain camp did. Play to everyone, but doing it badly.

As far as Meg Whitman goes . . . well of course he agrees with her. I wonder how he would like to inherit these financial difficulties as President elect. I am telling you, we will all be living on an island somewhere. The Isle of the Forgotten. As MM says, kicked to the curb.
