If you need to laugh about being unemployed.

Post by anz on Fri Apr 27, 2012 12:33 pm

Hey everyone. I stumbled across this blog, and it's really funny (workinonitinpgh.blogspot.com. Both my husband and I have been unemployed for two years despite constant searching. He has brain cancer and can't receive benefits due to the little bit of money he makes working part-time disqualifying him from getting medicaid. Anyway, when we think we've hit the bottom, the bottom falls out again. With a family to support, the scariness can take over if you let it. I got a lot of laughs out of these postings, but be warned, there's some "bad" language, but then again, I'm sure we've all at least thought these words at some point in our journey. Smile

Hi Anz... thanks for the link. It was quite entertaining!

I'm very sorry about your husband's condition and also about his catch 22 regarding Medicaid.

Glad that you can keep your spirits up. These are real tough times.

Thanks Jeff. They are. I know we're not the only ones going through this, and we won't be the last. We're just hoping for some relief soon.

I needed this! Thank you very much for that link. And I send hugs to you and your husband. (If only I really could.)
