Dear Obama
Want to know one thing Obama, why have you never addressed the 99er's?? The one's who have expired their unemployment and still have no job. There is an awful lot of them, millions and millions more by the end of this year!Do you even know the true #'s of us out here? A lot of these people are homeless or on the verge of being homeless.I think you better check into that issue, because by the time re-election rolls around the poverty level(homeless) is going to sky rocket and it will be all the 99er's new and old.One other thing would help is to encourage employers to hire long time unemployed and enforce the labor laws.THEY ARE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST AGE,AND HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN UNEMPLOYED!! Just got done e-mailing this to him,but I doubt he even see it. But it was worth a shot!!

Re: Dear Obama
Great Letter Jculp49! I a have sent many similaryly worded letters to all over congress. The problem with saying WE (99ers or Exhaustees) are voters too is that POTUS knows that he has the ball in his court on that topic.
I mean I think the way they look at it is that even though they are not recognizing us, we are not a threat. Mr. Obama knows that if a Republican president was elected that there would be even less help for us so we a subject he doesn't have to worry about. It's too bad that Romney was not in support of us becuase if he were suddenly we would get mentioned more.

Re: Dear Obama
Dear Jculp49,
I got your letter and although you think I have time to address the concerns of the nation I am far too busy with trying to get re-elected to even focus on that issue.
It’s all about votes now my friend and besides, come on it's not like you guys are ever going to vote Republican anyway. I need to focus on people that might vote Republican, not the ones I’ve got in the bag.
Keep your chin up though I’m getting ready to cut the corporate tax rate to get some votes and spur growth!
Sincerely,
Obama
P.S. You should know I could never extend benefits for those 99 and over, if America knew how many of you there really were it would kill all my media coverage of how I've got the economy improving (and make me look like I don't know what I'm doing) I can't have that; a little premature I know but thanks for your vote.

Implying a republican president wouldn't be much, much worse.

Re: Dear Obama
You already got a Republican President that is what is so laughable at all these posts and why he has my vote.
He only goes left to keep his base otherwise he's on the same gold plan.
While my old party has all the Dems carrying his water they will gain more seats in the House and probably retake the Senate; while the Dems stare at the shinny object, once that is accomplished he is just an after thought.
He is a failure in everything else he tries with the left and even he see's it.

Re: Dear Obama
The Democratic party has been since Clinton more like republican center
Than traditional Democratic...
One reason, though by no means the only one is the deregulation of the airwaves by the FCC, leaving the far right to push the dialog WAY to the right..
Another reason id the extreeme funding by the financial industry of BOTH parties...
No I am NOT a Clinton fan or a Reagan Fan either

Re: Dear Obama
I'm with you! When I was a Repub going to thier meetings I would get so sick of hearing about Reagan this and Reagan that. Funny his way of dealing with the UE is the same as Obama: Don't count the people who no longer get benefits. And deregulation killed us and shows how both parties are bought and paid for; same snake different heads.

Re: Dear Obama
All the while, the main concentration should be on job creation, and Obama wants to propose a $300 million Great Lakes cleanup project....way to prioritize:(
I feel this is unacceptable and should be on the bottom of the list, as far as I'm concerned.
He could take that money and utilize it in a more sensible way..it just seems like a waste.
