This may help people that are being hassled by the IRS. With your personal case you still need to see an certified tax professional that has experience in handling such cases. Also go to the source. Check the IRS website. Some student loans, mortgage debt and bankruptcies may be wiped out.

So if someone owed you money, it would be OK for someone to come in and say, he doesn't owe you because he can't pay, so you are out of luck.

Pay your student loans, taxes, mortgage.
