Here are some more photos of the event.
People in every state came out for the Rally.
Some even in the snow.
Good to see so many take part in this event.
But one bad thing they said there was not enough news coverage.
Almost like a deliberate black out.
If Congress could see this many people turning out for an event like this it would let them know there is a hugh voting block here with the unemployed millions across this nation. And if they don't do something about this problem they will be voted out of office. And we will get someone who will do something about this crisis.
When you see so many people in these photos it gives you a good perspective of how hugh this unemployment problem is.

when you can tell me what the American dream is anymore maybe I can try to help save it! Fighting to survive isn't a DREAM it s MUST! If there ever is going to be a dream its now pushed back about 20 yrs.

exhaustedandtired/120,
I agree with you on that.
We all are pretty much tired of running into a block wall when it comes to Congress doing anything for Americans.
But at least we have some good people across this nation that are still in the fight and trying to do something about the problems.
So hang in there and don't give up yet.
More people are getting into action on this long term unemployment issue. So eventually there maybe some positive changes made.

Re: 'Save the American Dream' rally across the country today
This message below came in tonight from Immy, one of the Rallyers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
hi everyone!
what a great event -- wonderful cuz it was so crowded, so many many people.
and frustrating cuz it was so crowded -- i couldn't GET to you guys. could
not move through the crowd, the cops were very very strict and even with my
Native-New-Yorker patented elbows I couldn't get near the speakers. grrrh.
HEARD Sam (I think) and Yvonne (for sure -- and I could REALLY feel and see
that her words affected people more than any other speaker. there was a
hush, of connection, respect, and sympathy). but I couldn't see them!
so i have some shots, not too bad, of the HUGE number of folks... but would
love to combine with someone with better/closer footage.
what reports from everyone else?
Peace out, I was very moved.
