They just may get away with it too! I think they maybe in trouble with the IRS. Somewhere they had to commit fraud.

Well they have been getting away with it for 10 yrs.according to the article.Not sure if every state is the same for their welfare policies,but in NY There is a 5 yr cap except for the immigrants they can receive help for life.

Unfortunately there are a few examples of programs being abused. I think one big problem with the social problems is that they focus on income which some people lie about. Also, I think it is time that things like health coverage should be universal, for everyone, not just the poor and disabled or the well off or employed who have it through their employer. If all had it, and paid a fair share based on their household income, noone would have the biggest worry over their head of losing what little savings or home they have to a medical facility. Also, if we all have it, there would be fewer people faking or lying to get it.
Even bigger than the fraud are those who slip through the cracks, they lose their job, or get a low paying job and make too much to qualify for help but have to pay into programs that never help them.
Just opinions... but I felt I should share.
