Please all, take a minute or two and read this article. I saw the story break this morning on msnbc with Chris Hayes. Very interesting.

I am actually surprised there isn't more of this. I was sure I would immediately start seeing the "I saw ows protesters worshiping Satan" stories.

~DC Lobbying Firm vs. Occupy ~ Empty Lobbying Firm Memo To Advise Wall Street Clients On Occupy Movement

Post by Guest Sun Nov 20, 2011 11:09 am

A lobbying firm has prepared a memo offering advice to its Wall Street clients to help them manage any political fallout from Occupy Wall Street, warning that Republicans may turn on big banks, at least in public, altering the political ground for years to come. It is one of the first clear signs that the movement may be starting to trouble the moneyed elite.

The memo, first reported by MSNBC's Chris Hayes, host of the show "Up with Chris Hayes," was written by the firm Clark, Lytle, Geduldig, Cranford and addressed to one of its Wall Street clients. It runs four pages long and is set to be sent on Thanksgiving.

So true Desp. I don't think anyone is surprised. However, I do believe this comes from a place of fear. People who don't protest, fairly conservative leaning people are showing support for the movement as they too feel the pinch of what Wall Street, the Government and certain members of the House and Senate have continued to allow. They are no longer in the majority in thinking that they are right and this is wrong. The interesting thing being discussed mostly is who is behind the money for the lobbying and how they don't feel it will really accomplish anything to shed a positive light on those lobbying against the Occupy Movement.
