Majority Leader Cantor Says Obama Jobs Plan Won’t Receive A Vote On The House Floor

Several news outlets are reporting that House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) said the GOP will not bring President Obama’s $447 billion jobs plan to a vote on the House floor. The administration has been asking for a vote on the bill this month. Last week, economists surveyed by Bloomberg News said that the plan could help prevent a double-dip recession.

Is this Obamas fault to?

If the American Jobs Act comes to the floor any time soon, the 99ers are screwed again. There is NOTHING in that bill, either UI extensions or retraining programs for the exhaustees.

We will probably have a repeat of last year, dragging it out until the last minute to get the extension deadlines changed again, but nothing for the 99ers.

This bill will only create 1.9 million jobs! What is going to happen to the other 40 something million that will not get one of those golden jobs?

I don't know if anyone realizes that, or if people who are recently laid off know that there will be no more extensions after 12/31.

Our numbers are in the millions, people are protesting across the country for us and we can't even get 5,000 signatures on a petition!

Time is running out! We need to act now, TOGETHER - ALL OF US!!!!
