Paul Ryan, Herman Cain Push For Tax Increases On Middle Class

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said on Sunday that House Republicans would oppose President Barack Obama's payroll tax cuts for both employers and employees, arguing that the policy had already failed to provide a sufficient boost to the economy. "It hasn't worked," Ryan said, suggesting the current temporary tax cut should be allowed to expire, which will amount to a 50 percent tax hike on workers making less than $106,000 per year
And you wonder why I am a lefty

But but but...I thought taxes were always bad, Mr. Conservative? Oh, I see, they're bad for you, not for me! Thanks abundantly for making that clear!
Did these guys fail Econ 101 in their fancy colleges? If they tax the consumer base, and take money out of the hands of the REAL job creators, how do they expect things to get better? Oh, I see, they don't care about us and only care about getting rid of the "Kenyan Mooslim Fascist Communist" in the next election. Got it! A clear sign for me to not vote for them even if they were running against Satan Himself!

This is so absurd. So tax increases on the wealthy kills jobs but tax increases on the middle class improves the economy?
