AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger will Cut Thousands of U.S. Jobs

The AT&T (News - Alert) / T-Mobile deal will lead to reduction in American jobs as the company will lower its capital expenditures by $10 billion, according to a study by David Neumark, professor of Economics and director of the Center for Economics and Public Policy at the University of California at Irvine.

As of today 9/14/11 T-mobile has begun the layoff process and the closing of the doors starting with the contractors who have worked there for years...The contractors will be done by this Friday and next, basically hand everything in and just finish up what they have done and that is it, no more money at all this year...Looks like it is all but done for T-Mobile no matter if the merger goes through or not with AT@T as the layoffs have begun and just a matter of time before the doors close completely..
