What's another 16 bill into if 447 billion? To not include the 99ers in such a costly bill pretty much seals the deal for me.

Personally I don't think that blessing this politician is exactly what I'd suggest, after all these months of silence, only to be jumping onto the bandwagon again as of late.

With the sorrow felt by 99ers for so long and her dead silence against so many questions in the last many months, I hope her sudden re-commitment is viewed exactly as it has been maneuvered. Just politics. Don't get your hopes up, this is just playtime bullshit.

If she is willing to stand up for us, I am willing to give her my time. She has mentioned us more than once and has introduced a bill and sought sponsors and I might add, gone on tv several times for the 99ers. To stillnutty's point, who else has done that for us.

Point being, she didn't just brush it off and mention only the President's plan in a general fashion, she got specific.

unfortunately the 447 billion is going to be slashed and probably DOA!

I think Obama did this on purpose knowing repubs. would fight it and also especially when he crafted to pay for it with taxes and the repubs. are going to kill any tax increase. Obama knows exactly what he is doing. But sorry Big guy! Wrong move. It wwill backfire once everyone see's his agenda! He said in his miracoolus speech when he said "I also have a way to pay for it". Typical of U kno Who!!

After just more less browsing each of the 156 page bill online from googling, there is no mention whatsoever of any additional unemp. insurance for the 99'ers in this bill, which is of no surrpise to me based on past 2 months reportings and lack of serious interest/discussions on behalf of really any party line.

Okay, I'll take the bait. It isn't working out, is it? Until "we" get off the pot and take some bold action "we" will just watch the "election time" entertainers show and the bill will just grow more moss.

I would hope that I'm wrong. But let's face it, this bill going this long is just plain wrong at this point. And as it stands, it's method of execution (back to tier I) is absurd. It needs to be rewritten. As it stands, the deployment of this plan would be a nightmare for all concerned.

sorry, I am going to ease up a little but when I get a thorn in my side on issues I have to give my take too! But if the US comment about Obama is mentioning us! I guess when he says the unemployeds obiviously that includes all the unemployed, however 2. points: 1. when he pushes his agenda on the unemployment part and his version of long term really is defined by those coming off their 26 weeks and he considers them the new long term unemployed.
2. When he tries to sell his unemployment benefit pckage and he specifically mentions the long term to also INCLUDE those out of benefits and have been unemployed over two years, then I will believe his committment to ALL unemployed! Man!! What happened to the spelling correction guide, I know I have mispelleb a bunch of words that need correcting!

Hey! I am sorry. I keep venting my anger with the same ole' same ole' Even I know time is the only answer. and sometimes the future seems so far away! I'll try to ease up, but not sure I can change overnight! May take a while! Like after 2012 elections and no matter how it goes the next four years will be very interesting. Either we may see recovery or slide into depression! Can't stay like it is now! I pray that this era of unemployment and the millions of unemployeds numbers isn't the new norm as over a year ago I stated that I worry the the numbers of unemployeds is the new norm from both parties and its sorry about your luck ! We'll see, but do love everyone on this forum andmy country because I really care about America's future!

BTW! Barb. needs to demand 589 out of committee! Put up a fight to bring it to the floor! It may be the only hope 99er's may have! Hope for you guys! I am inelgible for any more extensions but believe me I pray for everyone else!
