So, what are your expectations when Congress returns ?

Not trying to be negative, however, I am personally not expecting much on anything really. More childish behavior, of that I am certain. I REALLY do hope they bring up immediately or at least discuss help for the (99ers), long time unemployed, as my benefits ran out in March of 2009. It has been a very long haul. Many resumes sent, few responses. The last "rejection" I received was an actual postcard. C'mon, at least use an envelope. That felt like a huge rejection, worse then others! I won't give up, however it is difficult to muster lots of hope. Off to continue my email campaign..........

I also have low expectations. I am back to work but underemployed. I pray for help for the 99ers everynight, and gainful employment for everyone.

...from both sides! The R's have already stated they will not agree to Obama's jobs plan, which includes a payroll tax holiday on SS and the extension of unemployment benefits. More GOP obstruction.

I expect the sickening display of selfishness to continue from Republicans and DINOS, and therefore nothing to get done or change. I'm hoping that it's well hilighted and well documented so that it can be used as a running platform for the other side.

I'm going to continue handing out cold bottles of water to 99ers roasting in the 105 degree heat here on streetcorners holding up signs begging for quarters.

from now until 2012 elections nothing is going to get done! Repubs. only motives will be do everything to make Obama look bad (sorry to say that, I am NOT an Obama fan, but) And Obama will lie, decieve and pull every ploy to manipulate. I hope Americans are smarter than he thinks we are! I want a good repub. to run or a great democrat. probably won't find either one! But we do need a change or otherwise we're doomed with what we have now! Already are!

Huntsman is moving to a centrist position, loved what he said about M. Bachmann not having a clue about gas prices being lowered to $2/gallon. Won't it be nice if the repubs begin to follow his lead, and move more to the center, and leave those crazy Tea Party members to scream and cry. Can't figure out why they act so scared of them, like they have some ability as the new face of the GOP, most GOP's think their scary nutballs.

They are scared because:

The scary nutballs primaried some of their established people for the 2010 midterms.
The scary nutballs have a major say in who wins the GOP primary.
One of the scary nutballs just won the Iowa straw poll.

And I'm not so sure that most GOPs think they are scary nutballs. I think that these days, most GOPs are scary nutballs, which explains items 1-3 above.
