Can you move into a EUC tier if you have a part time temporary position ? I just got a 6 month part time temporary job at 30-35 hrs per week making 1/3 of what I was making at my old job before being downsized. My original 26 weeks of UC ends on 9/17/2011 and then I would be eligible for Tier 1 EUC. was wondering if part time temporary employment would cause me not to be able to move into Tier 1 of EUC. This is in the state of PA.

You would need to check with PA Service Center. I am not sure if you are working 30 hours or more they consider that part time, it would also depend on what your Partial Benefit is as well. Best to check with them, since new legislation has been enacted, I don't really know the rules as well as I did under the old regulations.
