OBAMA is the Problem: Psychological Flaw

What Happened to Obama?

This article explains why America is in the mess it is in. Obama is a wimp. Obama has psychological problems. Obama should have never been elected President. Obama is the reason so many Americans are unemployed. Obama is the reason why the rich get tax breaks and the elderly and unemployed must pay for those breaks with cuts in their pensions, benefits, etc. Obama is the main reason why the Tea Party has gained so much clout in bankrupting America. Obama is the worst nightmare come true. Those who voted for Obama are watching in horror as America crumbles under his rule. Obama is to blame for everything that is wrong with America today.

Are you kidding? We started seeing the first signs of this 'great recession' in 2007 and it escalated with the market crash in the Fall of 2008. Prior to that crash, millions had already lost their jobs - I am one of them. Obama was NOT in office then! I remember John McCain suspended his presidential campaign for a few days to get back to the Senate that Fall because of the seriousness of the situation.

Now, the President cannot get anything passed, or even a fair compromise because the only agenda the GOTP has right now is seeing that he is a one term president. They started on this agenda that day President Obama was inaugurated.

I am not thrilled with Obama's job performance. I think he needs a stronger backbone to take a firmer stance when the GOTP threatens to hold programs that benefit the American people hostage. He backs off and gives in every time.

Our leaders have called for 'shared sacrifice'. Let's see some of that in the blame game that is going on. Both parties are responsible for this mess we are in - and the responsibility for this is not equal. Boehner and McConnell and all their cronies should take the majority of the blame. That party, and their main agenda since 2008, are the reason why things are only getting worse!

This article is NOT about Boehner or McConnell. It is about the wimp in the White House. It is about a leader that is not a leader. Apologize all you want for Obama's lack of leadership, but he is the reason this political melodrama goes on. Instead of his position of capitulation, he should have developed a backbone. The Democrats need another candidate that has experience and leadership capabilities, not just eloquent speaking abilities. Otherwise even a Republican leader would be preferable. America cannot afford to keep a wimp in the White House.

Read the article and stop defending Obama's indefensible behavior:

Either Obama grows up and acts like a leader or we face another Depression.

Obama is to blame for everything that is wrong with America today.

That is extremely naive! We all see whats going on in congress, It is not Obama's fault IMO. He is the only "adult" in the room. Do I wish for him to stand up to the GOTP a hell of a lot more? Hell yes! But in all reality, would it have done any good or would it have prolonged things even more?

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/07/opinion/sunday/what-happened-to-obamas-passion.html?pagewanted=1&ref=general&src=me

Referring to this excerpt from the article above:

Franklin D. Roosevelt offered Americans a promise to use the power of his office to make their lives better and to keep trying until he got it right. Beginning in his first inaugural address, and in the fireside chats that followed, he explained how the crash had happened, and he minced no words about those who had caused it. He promised to do something no president had done before: to use the resources of the United States to put Americans directly to work, building the infrastructure we still rely on today. He swore to keep the people who had caused the crisis out of the halls of power, and he made good on that promise. In a 1936 speech at Madison Square Garden, he thundered, “Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me — and I welcome their hatred.” When Barack Obama stepped into the Oval Office, he stepped into a cycle of American history, best exemplified by F.D.R.

Obama should be following the example set by FDR because IT WORKED! Obama has to do it to PREVENT a Depression. It is not ALL Obama's fault as it has been almost impossible to negotiate with TEA-REPUKER HOSTAGE TAKERS!

Yes, yes, it is all Obama's fault and of course, it also has nothing to do with outsourcing of jobs, lack of a stimulus that does enough due to political posturing, and corporations hoarding huge profits.

What a bunch of crap to blame the bullied over the bullies. Typical Tea party BS! If the baggers would just shut the F up and the GOP got out of the way. Obama would spend to create jobs instead he has to play politics with YOU FOOLS!

All the while the baggers cheer when the economy fails. GREAT USA CITIZENS!

Maybe you should do some research on the author before you buy his BULLSHITE!

http://news.yahoo.com/decrying-obamas-centrism-drew-westen-ignores-role-race-171449160.html

Drew Westen’s brilliant—and strategically placed—essay “What Happened to Obama?,” which appeared in the New York Times on Sunday, leaves out an all-important factor – race – in discussing the president’s disappointing centrism.

When I asked Westen about this omission, he replied in an email today that it was “mostly space” that caused him to ignore a “great question.”

HUMMM???? Question Question Question Question

OK. I admit that Obama is to NOT blame for everything that is wrong with America today. And I thought that Obama was half and half: Half white and half black. Race is not the problem as I see it. His inability to stand up to the bullies is the problem. Instead of fighting for what is right he gives in before the fight begins. Obama's form of negotiation is to abandon the wishes of those who elected him. Obama is giving away the store. Obama can take effective actions by using executive orders. Obama has made the Tea Party drunk with the power he cedes to them. Evidently the unemployed are not going to do anything except whimper about desperately needing unemployment benefits, food stamps, social security and medicare while Obama gets bullied and the nation gets stomped. This is change for the worse. Unless Obama gets a backbone, then an economic depression is coming soon.

Lets see Hum! He is president, and he says "The buck stops here". He has NO plan. He made another great cheerleading speech today said Americans are resilient and we produce the best products made here. But has NO plans saying "Here is what I want to implement". Or Obama have you ever considered making it tough on American companies producing overseas. and encouraging companies to return here to produce. NOTHING! But great speeches. Other presidents again!!! Hello! this is 2011. he is president! A no plan president. One thing proves how flawed he is, Is when he makes big speeches he is the only one who believes them! Hello! Obama, its time for action that shows up and not great speeches saying how great everything is!! Again, again, again!!! He says boy these Americans are so dumb everytime he makes a great speech! NO SUBSTANCE!!!

Koch money and the conspiracies they dreamed up created the wackos in the tea party which have been around for at least 5 or 6 years now. You know that commie muslim BS. The racist ones are just the cherries on top.

Once again where is the blame for the bullies. I guess I can go punch my weak neighbor in the face and say its his fault for not defending himself. There is plenty of blame to go around.

What would you like the GOP to take back over?

What they fail to realize is that Obama got elected with the support of ALL RACES! The Republicans have been pissed since they got their asses kicked in 2008 by a BLACK MAN no less! Geeze hate to call him that because he is bi-racial! All they see is BLACK! They were willing to give him a chance in 2008, but now they are turning on him because he has not waved a magic wand to cure the mess BUSH got us into. It won't take one term in office to fix this, and Obama said it himself when he was campaigning!

Folks, Obama doesn't care the slightest bit about any of us. And neither does Boehner or any other high-level politician. The sociopathic personality is drawn to positions of power, and honest people won't do what it takes to get to the top in Washington (or Rome or London or any other empire).

The people in charge are thugs and criminals in nice suits who are experts at deception. We can't wait for help from them - they are the problem. We are going to have to help ourselves.

Five things Obama should do to lead
By David Gergen, CNN Senior Political Analyst

http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/08/11/gergen.market.leadership/index.html?hpt=hp_c1

(CNN) -- When you have flown through a heavy storm, the plane tossing one way and another, have you ever wondered whether there was really anyone in the cockpit? That's the feeling that many Americans have today -- as if we are lurching through an economic storm with no one in charge.

Will the pilot please return to the cockpit? David Gergen's article reiterates that Obama is out to lunch. Will the real President Obama please step forward?

OBAMA can do a lot to put America back to work. He is not helpless as some people like to characterize him. He is the executive of the United States. As POTUS he has the ability to bypass the bullies in Congress. Here is another article that specifies what he can do at any time to create jobs. The big question is: Is Obama going to continue to be bullied by the Tea Party or is he going to take action to put Americans to work? This is an economic recession that could become a depression if we have a timid President. Donna Brazile has some suggestions that Obama should consider in her article:
Brazile: 4 ways Obama can take control to get America back on track
http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/08/12/obama.control/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
1. Empower his Cabinet: Exercise of executive power
2. Don't be afraid to be an executive: Wield executive power to put Americans back to work
3. Flex monetary muscle: Use the authority the executive branch has on monetary policy
4. Acknowledge the bully pulpit has changed: Cajole public and private entities into action

Instead of apologizing for Obama's behavior, we should be advocating that he take the reins of power and put Americans back to work!

You can even sign a petition to join the Progressive Democrats who want Obama to stop the sweet talk and actually get something done:

TELL DEMOCRATS TO STAND UP FOR PROGRESSIVE PRINCIPLES

"OK. I admit that Obama is NOT to blame for everything that is wrong with America today." by USA Citizen Yesterday at 4:35 pm

The op-ed article is very informative. I must agree with most or all of it:

"So get over blaming Barack Obama first. He's not even a secondary or tertiary cause of this mess. But he is president; he asked for the job; and no one ever said it would be easy."
"In the face of enemies within — within the political system and the financial system — he and he alone can recast the contest for America's future."
