I wish they would. Last spring when the AFL-CIO rallied on Wall St., the also held a simultaneous "cyber" rally and thousands of unemployed joined in. Since then, I have subscribed to their news letter. It would be a good idea if the President of that union, Richard Trumka, would include us in his protests and let it be known that the unemployed are included in their ranks. That would add about 30 million more people to their cause.

The Oregon chapter of AFL-CIO is working with the unemployed. They just created a group called: Oregon Wants To Work. And are starting to lobby the state government. There is a rally in March at the state capitol.
