Repatriation is the Last Refuge of Scoundrels

Post by Guest on Fri Jul 01, 2011 7:41 pm

Um, aren’t people reading the financial news?

Major corporations — and this is what we’re talking about — are awash in cash, which they aren’t investing in new plant and equipment because they don’t see enough consumer demand to justify expanding capacity. Instead, they’re paying down debt, buying back their own stock, and in general using cash for just about everything except job creation.

Do we want to encourage repatriation, anyway? Someone else will endure that which we're enduring. We need to create more jobs.

LOL that's called sound business practices since when did business become a charitable org. How about this why don't we have sound EPA regs not moving the all over the map, how about sound tax policy and further sound labor policy and here’s although how about a budget?
