Question about Temp Agencies Empty Question about Temp Agencies

Post by mrmucciethamc Sat Jun 25, 2011 8:11 pm

Hi, i signed up for a temp agency in april but never received work for them because some unfortunate circumstances forced me to move out of my area/home. Anyway I received an overnight job at a supermarket out of being out of work for 2 years. I was wondering do temp agencies work with your schedule? Would they let me work on whatever days I wanted, say the days I have off from my supermarket job? I've been thinking about it. Thanks Very Happy

Hi Mrmucciethamc it really all depends on the agency and the job climate, right now there are so many applicants for jobs the chances of them "working" with you are pretty slim. Its not as if there is a ton of jobs and they are scrounging for people to fill them.

Yeah, accustaff wanted me to work as a security guard (which i have experience doing) or work at a Estee Lauder factory. I told them yes and they emailed the guy in charge of the security company. Unfortunately I had bad experiences that made me move. I recently moved back to the area and want to see if accu staff will let me work during certain days.
