This IS the MAIN problem with Capitalism and the 1% has FIXED it to WHERE we have no say so now. Yet the mindless still believe in the MYTHS and LIES that the greed mongers have fed everybody for decades. Capitalism needs an enema and a REEVALUATION that DOESN'T put the power and control SOLELY in the hands of the Robber Barron leaders of Industry and Finance, while leaving the workers to fend for themselves and call it A GOOD THING we all have.

Many large corporations today have the largest profits they have ever generated yet are laying off workers or actually asking them to accept pay cuts! If you don’t share in the profits of your hard work but instead get laid off or have your wages cut at a time of historic profits (which you have contributed to) why are you working? That extra profit that you worked harder and harder for had to go somewhere, so where did it go? Just like in a pyramid scheme, everyone works hard and puts in effort but the rewards for that effort only go to the top. This is clearly a one-way transaction and not profitable for both sides.

Yet the mindless that support "IT'S THEIR COMPANY and THEIR profits, THEY EARNED" crowd just doesn't get it. I get tired of the fools who say "TAKE what they GIVE you and be happy"

This is nothing MORE than SLAVERY disguised, Question is HOW to fight it while MANY are suckered in by the LIE? This article/post says it ALL. The reason JOBS are scarce and the FEDs turn their backs to us is the VERY system we have been led to believe in. Capitalism as is stands now is a FRAUD, a Ponzi Scheme, because it's very base and nature HAS BEEN changed and ALTERED to support the TOP while leaving those of us WHO DO the WORK out in the cold. We NEED a NEW system that benefits US ALL and NOT the few. For over 2 years now and 25+ years down the road, I GAVE everything to this system and NOW have nothing. Yes we have ALL been SUPPRESSED by being PAID crap for our labor for decades while the MAN got PAID hand over fist AT OUR EXPENSE only to be discarded in the end after being used up. ONCE one comes to the realization THAT WE are really SLAVES and ENSLAVED to this VERY corrupted system the question is WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? They HAVE us over a barrel, We need Food, Rent, Gas etc. I'm SO sick of hearing, "be thankful you HAVE a job etc". Well, I'm not thankful to a bunch of THIEVES that have ripped me OFF for decades then discarded me. Money I may be able to get back but NOT TIME. Thats GONE and I've got fewer years ahead now, so I ask myself "Do I really want to GIVE what time left to those who have STOLEN from me"? I keep saying NO to this. But I ask again, what to DO in a country and system that has used, abused and thrown me away? A system that says WORK for me and I'll pay you nothing and treat you like dirt, a system that TAKES and TAKES and gives NOTHING in return but SORRY, It's YOUR fault, here's you last check now get outta my sight. Nope this nation and it's "REAL" values are truly criminal all the while they feed us jingoistic propaganda and myths of old to distract us to their criminal actions. This nation isn't great, it's run by a gaggle of thieves and all we HAVE now is to exchange one crook for another. Make no mistake, we live in a fascists nation where they use our myths and history to MAKE people believe that our ideals and methods ARE so much better than everybody else in the world while they break into your home and rip you off. At least communism was upfront about it's intentions on people. Here we get a smile, handshake and then a knife in the back. Then they steal your horse and tell you it's just business, nothing personal. That's the real America hiding behind the curtain like a thief waiting to strike.

You are correct Mister Munster. I totally agree with you, but the problem is the need for money for basic living. That is why I support a guaranteed basic income for everyone 18 or over, no matter what you financial situation is. by having a basic income, we cannot be made slaves to jobs we hate or jobs that barely pay enough for our needs. We would be free to add to our basic income and work where we want or not work at all depending on your own personal circumstances.

Unfortunately the capitalist system is entrenched in a way that you cannot escape it, we are trapped until their is a revolution or some major change which I hope will happen one day, but it will not be bloodless unfortunately, their are still too many people that want this system we have regardless of how bad it is. So what do you do? you have to eat, you have to drive to job, keep roof over you head? If you live with family, they have to work, so they are also trapped in this system. WE CANNOT ESCAPE, unless we all win the lottery. I say this because I see it also for what it is?

I now folks in MI living on the Canadian border who see every day what the Canadians have that they don't stand a snow ball chance in hell of having, and they want to go over there. Funny isn't it, those of us in the Sunbelt states, see hundreds of vans and people dying every day in the desert trying to get into the US. Some dye because they try to cross the desert on foot, some because the coyotes (people who traffic humans) leave them in hot vans on the side of road, or crash the vehicles so they die. But, not so many any more, they don't want to come to the US now, work not so plentiful. But, I'm not so sure, they are also desparate to make a few bucks anyway they can. Not that I don't think Americans would work the crops in Yuma, but they are still coming to the Land of Opportunity. Ha!
