In a move mimicking Wisconsin lawmakers, Indiana lawmakers fled the statehouse in protest over the anti-union bill being considered. The Republican Governor, Mitch Daniels, suggested to Republican lawmakers to drop the bill.

Hmm, maybe this is something that Governor Walker, the Republican Governor from Wisconsin should have considered doing before this whole mess exploded onto the national stage, creating a huge embarrassment for the GOP.

There are a lot of states watching what is happening in Wisconsin right now. Indiana and Ohio are two of those states. IMO Wisconsin's governor thought he could ram through any legislation that he wanted and no one would say anything. There was probably no thought after that.

I think that we could see the U.S. Congress act in this manner. They really need to send a message to Republicans that it's time to start working together instead of the oneupmanship that they've been concentrating on.

Republicans know very well that nothing they introduce is going to pass and instead of concentrating on a jobs creation bill or extending unemployment for the hardest hit unemployed, they are wasting time with useless bills that they know aren't going to pass. They have to know that the voters will not vote for their re-election in 2012.
