Here We Go Again (Tornado Watch)
Already had 2 severe thunderstorms roll through this morning. I only had marble size hail. Tornado watch util 10PM. Weather radio keeps going off. It's gone off 4 times already.
Everyone here is sick of the La Nina storms.
ANOTHER ROUND OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...AND TORNADOES
WILL BE POSSIBLE. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL FROM THESE THUNDERSTORMS
COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS

La Nina also means this upcoming hurricane season could be bad. Living in S FL makes me very nervous...

The weather is getting worse around the world. Mother nature is fighting back, I think. It could also be due to climate change that the republicans says is a myth.
All I know is we never have tornadoes in NC like the ones we had last week.

They aren't going to be able to say it is a myth much longer. It is obvious that the weather patterns have become extreme. Look at the past year for example, here in NE we had record-breaking heat all summer and this winter record-breaking snowfall.
I realize where you live also, those kind of storms that went through last weekend were not the norm. Having lived not too far from there growing up, I know the storms are pretty bad - but that is usually in the middle of the summer, not mid April, and not to that extent.

Yeah we have bad thunderstorms in the summer but even in the summer we don't really have to tornadoes like that.
I actually didn't believe it when I first heard.
There was hail outside my house that evening that was larger than a golf ball. It was like someone was pouring ice cubes from the sky. Someone reported baseball size hail in some places. I can't even imagine that. It sounded like someone was banging on the roof with a hammer. I have never seen anything like that in my life.

Weather extremes are becoming the norm. Wouldn't be surprised to see accumulating snow in central or even southern FL at some point in the future. It has happened in Southern California in recent years.

There was all the flooding in Australia not long ago too. Maybe that's happened before but I sure don't remember it.
As for them not being able to say it's a myth much longer...yeah they will. I'm sure you know people who watch FOX and listen to all the radio blowhards. They're immune to facts.

Well as the Polar Ice Caps continue to melt and part of the east coast goes under, the midwest turns into a barren desert and Southern CA gets hit with blizzards in the middle of summer, I look forward to seeing them sitting in their studios in Manhattan, under water, telling everyone Global Warming is a myth.

Good idea, unfortunately it wouldn't be 100% true! They didn't start measuring the decrease in the Polar Ice Caps until the late 1950's. He was just a kid then.

I live 3/4 mile from where it touched down ( I am just south of airport(. Power just came up. Down for 25 hours.
I was scared shitless. I hunkered down in my hall closet & heard a loud WHOOSH and power went out at the same time. It barely missed us. Lots of trees & limbs down and on houses but nothing like the total destruction of so many homes. Our public works director said we were missed by a quarter mile.
I'm exhausted.
