Ebenezer Scrooge Yuppie Sellouts
Are you at wits end just like me? Seeing these little vermin makes nuclear bombs go off in my head. All happy and laughing like nothing is wrong. So careless with anything and everything. They look at me in disgust when I make long stares at them. I wonder what they did to keep their job; how they sold out. This is why I stare, because I don't understand. No matter what I do I can't get my life back. Is it over? Things aren't going to get better are they. My bul**hit meter has stopped working from overuse. Full-time, part-time, low-wage, living-wage. Always up and down up and down. Fired hired fired hired. I'm getting too old for this crap. Whatever happened to the days of corporate loyalty to employees? I'm so sad, our country is being flushed down the drain. The right-wing socialist nazis in the Tea Party think the victim is to blame. Nobody wants to help us. My biggest fear is to be homeless again, indefinitely. I don't think my stress and weariness will ever go away. This has altered me permanently.
The unemployed are helpless.

I think most of us do feel the same way. I constantly feel helpless. It is VERY scary. I sometimes feel like things will never get better, we will never live a normal life again, and that my kids are doomed. Hopefully, by the time my kids are adults things will be better.
I am disgusted with this government. All the facts are right in front of them but they choose to ignore it. We cant let them get away with this...We all need to keep harassing our representatives and the rest of congress until they hear us!!

Re: Ebenezer Scrooge Yuppie Sellouts
I have accepted the fact that the life I educated myself for and dreamed of is never going to happen. Now, I am about surviving and working with what I have. I am growing a garden, couponing, and taking in strays. I know for a fact that all the work I ever did in the job market never equated to saving one of these living creatures. Just cause I can't get a job doesn't mean I can't do "good works" One of the things I am doing is taking in the animals of those who can't keep them due to moving in with relatives and allowing them to get them back when able. One guy was just crying he had a cat for 10 years before his benefits ran out and he had to give her up. I don't have much money, but I do have some land, so I am fostering for the unemployed until they can get their animals back, if they never can, they know they have a home and can visit them anytime.

Now if only someone with land would do the same for those of us 99ers who don't have family to live with, or own a house of their own. My own sister is threatening to evict me, since I have not been able to find a full-time, steady job. If I had the money or investor sources who would loan me the money, I'd buy the property from her and allow a couple of church brothers who have income, to live here with me.

So sorry 503depressed, some sister you have there, sounds like a egg-sucking dog like mine. I have always been there for them, but they have stabbed me in the face (didn't bother doing it to my back). What kind of sorry sister would put you out, if she must have the rental income, she could at least offer you a room at her house. People are going to have to start working together, unfortunately many family members are just too shallow and pathetic to fill that bill, church members-well chosen- could fit that bill instead.
