Republicans Appear Poised To Take On Entitlements

Post by mistermunster on Mon Mar 28, 2011 2:07 pm

In southeast Florida last week, first-term GOP Rep. Allen West, a tea party favorite, called for changes that some might consider radical: abolish the Internal Revenue Service and federal income tax; retain tax cuts for billionaires so they won't shut down their charities; stop extending unemployment benefits that "reward bad behavior" by discouraging people from seeking new jobs.

and they say GOPers are OUR friends Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes When have we heard this from Dems??? Nope, only GOPers take pots shots like this at people.

Why aren't tax cut extensions considered rewarding bad behavior.

Beware, the GOP will continue this agenda unless they are dumped on their backs by the voters. Anyone still thinking the GOP will help and get the job done, just read Wisconsin papers, Florida papers, Pennsylvania papers and you'll see how they plan to help. If that's what you want, stay silent, if it's not, get your voices heard today and tomorrow.
